My apartment

When I first moved to Sweden, I lived inneboende (renting a room at somebody's house) for the first 4 years!! Both my landladies have been amazing but I have always wanted to have my own place which I can decorate however I want. In November last year, I finally managed to get a hold of a spacious studio apartment in Vällingby Centrum, and boy did I do some decorating! :D While in the past I enjoyed shopping for clothes, I mainly get into home&garden stores right now. As you see below, everything is in shades of pink and purple. Even a row of tiles in my bathroom is pink, and everybody asks me if that's why I have bought this apartment :) The truth is that this is achieved very easily with tile decals. I got mine here from Lagerhaus* - there are however no pink ones left. The main reasons why pink has taken over my apartment are: 1. I know that now is probably the only time when I can actually do this. If I move together with a guy some day, do you think he will let me turn the flat pink? I don't think so. And even if this doesn't happen I will soon be past 30, so living in Barbie's might be somewhat ridiculous. I will be like this green lady, who actually is kind of cool! :) 2. This color makes me happy! Isn't that a good enough reason?

The perfect shelf for the hallway.
This one is no longer sold, but you can find other cute ones here*

After a lot of searching I even found my perfect room separator
- I think it looks stylish, and doesn't take away from the light in the flat.
This one is from Furniturebox* and you can still find it HERE*, now with 30% off.
My dream is that one day I will have a real fireplace - until then I will be using a virtual one.

My zodiac sign's flower. And the scent is so fresh! :)
